This 90 minute workshop will explore the connection of traditional yoga and Reiki. Both practices focus on the flow of Prana, or life force energy, throughout the body. You can expect a brief discussion all about Reiki, how it is practiced, and how it can deepen your experience in your yoga practice. Then, we will begin with 35 minutes of Vinyasa flow while experiencing distance Reiki to encourage the flow of Prana within the body. We will end the workshop with 40 minutes of Yin yoga, which will include longer holds in more relaxing postures. During this portion of the workshop, you will receive direct, personal Reiki from an experienced Reiki Master to achieve relaxation, emotional/physical release, and a sense of well-being.
When: Workshops is 6 week series held every Monday at 10am and Wednesday at 6:30pm beginning September 9th and ending October 16th.
Participants can attend 6 sessions during that time. (option to pay drop in fee for additional classes)

Holy Yoga is a form of experiential worship that was created to introduce physical worship of the Lord through prayer, meditation, breath work, and movement to all denominations of believers in Jesus Christ. Holy Yoga is for everybody, regardless of age, race, denomination, or even physical health level. Our sole purpose at Holy Yoga is to connect people to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To deepen that experience, Holy Yoga classes are practiced to contemporary motivational Christian music.
Yoga is not a religion; it is a practice of mind and body connection. When lead by scripture, prayer, and worship poses, it is a practice that encourages patience and cultivates an understanding of what God can manifest in our physical and emotional bodies. When we can distance ourselves from the daily grind and find peace in worshipping with the entirety of our being, we find ourselves in the flow of His magnificence and amid His grace.
This four-week series consists of one 60-minute class per week for four consecutive weeks. The first week introduces physical postures, breath work, and biblical meditation, along with their respective benefits to the participants. The second, third, and fourth weeks consist of gentle classes that encourage strength, flexibility, and endurance of both body and spirit.
