Q: Where are you from and what experiences influenced your decision to become a Trainer?
“I am from a small town near Lansing, MI. I grew up as a very active kid with sports being a big part of my life. In college I played basketball and still enjoy doing so today. I also have a passion for restoring the generational farmhouse that both my father and I grew up in. Being active and having hobbies that are more physically demanding, has led me on a journey of seeking longevity in life, to continue to do what I love. And most importantly having the knowledge and skill set to help others do the same.”
Q: Do you still get involved in any sports or recreation?
“Yes. I am fortunate enough to still play basketball and enjoy the great outdoors through running and just being a big kid.”
Q: How long have you been a Trainer and what are some things that keep you motivated in your profession?
“I’ve been training for 17 years. My motivation comes from my drive to continually learn and grow myself, knowing that by doing so, I am able to help more people along the way.”
Q: Now that we know a little about Ashley the Trainer, what can you share with us about your life outside of the clinic?
“I enjoy learning new things and working on hands on projects. Helping my father restore the farmhouse and giving old furniture new life are some of my creative outlets.”
