Join us for a vinyasa style yoga practice that begins with a dynamic sequence and moves seamlessly into sun salutations to link strength-building exercises and yoga poses that target muscle groups specific to running. The physical portion of the workshop ends with a relaxing, cooling flow accompanied by longer-held poses to release connective tissue and tight areas in the body that limit runners. The strength and flexibility developed on the mat will help you run more efficiently and stay injury-free. Additionally, holding challenging poses builds stamina that will pay off on the road. Yoga poses give runners more than just strength, they can help build mental endurance.
