TRX Trainer


Katie came to yoga as a support for a friend diagnosed with MS. Her support for her friend quickly turned into a much needed practice for herself. In the ever changing military family world, yoga brought peace and balance. She trained and received yoga certificates specializing in PTSD/TBI, emotional and physical trauma, restorative therapeutics and addiction. She grew a passion for learning the psychological benefits and neuroscience behind yoga. Katie began volunteering with the Wounded Warrior community and the population near and dear to her heart, the caregivers. She continued her training in the DC area and completed her RYT200.

Strength and determination are her strongest qualities as well as the ability to be outgoing and positive in any trial that she faces! She strives to guide a powerful yet healing practice while creating a safe and empowering environment! You can expect each movement to be connected with breath and tons of motivation. Her classes are perfect for any level because you’re encouraged to listen to your body and modify accordingly. Katie is also a POUND Pro and TRX qualified instructor!

In her spare time she enjoys all things baseball and being a mom to a future "Detroit Tiger". She also loves riding her Harley!

The lunch time classes with Katie are amazing. It is a great mind and body break in the middle of the day. With all the classes starting on the hour around lunch everyone can fit one into their day. Katie is very patient and helps you work within your own fitness abilities and goals. It is an incredible option for your fitness needs.
